Stroke Rehabilitation
Stephens County Hospital is designated by the Georgia Department of Public Health's Office of EMS and Trauma as a Remote Treatment Stroke Center. Our facility has also earned the Silver award for the American Heart Association's Get with the Guidelines Stroke Recognition program.
A stroke can change many aspects of daily life, but recovery is possible with the right support. Our stroke rehabilitation program focuses on rebuilding strength, coordination, and communication skills.
We create personalized therapy plans that address your unique challenges and priorities. Progress may include walking, using your hands more effectively, or increasing independence with daily activities.
Family involvement and education are an important part of recovery. We provide guidance so your support system understands how to help you succeed.
Our team is dedicated to helping you regain function, confidence, and quality of life after a stroke.
