About Our Emergency Department in Toccoa, GA

Our Emergency Department contains 16 beds, including 5 state-of-the-art trauma and cardiac rooms. We are part of a STEMI (ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction) Program, coordinated with the Regional Referral Center, created to help detect and treat heart attacks quickly. We also offer specialty emergency coverage in OBGYN, Orthopedics and General Surgery. Each of these components allows our team to treat you or your loved one quickly and effectively!

EMS (Emergency Medical Services)

We not only provide emergency care at the hospital but also whenever emergencies occur throughout our communities. As the operator of the county’s EMS, we respond to all area 911 calls for medical assistance.
