Medical / Surgical Inpatient Care Unit

The Medical/Surgical Unit at Stephens County Hospital provides inpatient care for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Located on the third floor, our 34-bed unit offers around-the-clock nursing care and personalized support throughout the healing process.

All of our Medical / Surgical units have state-of-the-art beds equipped with air surface assist mattresses for the prevention of skin breakdown. Our patient rooms are beautifully decorated in soft, calming tones and filled with plenty of natural light. Each room is equipped with a sleep chair or recliner for loved ones. All bathrooms have walk-in showers. Our team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Unit Secretaries strive to provide a therapeutic and safe environment to meet your physical, emotional, psycho-social and spiritual needs. Our staff is able to provide a skilled level of care with that personal touch.
