Intensive Care Unit

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Stephens County Hospital provides advanced monitoring and specialized care for patients with serious illnesses or injuries. Our six-bed unit is staffed by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who deliver personalized attention and support during critical stages of treatment.

Patients can expect a lower nurse-to-patient ratio and 24 hours a day, 7 days a week advanced cardiac monitoring. The unit is staffed with experienced Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses under the direction of qualified Physicians. Up-to-date technology, skilled care providers, and an interdisciplinary approach to promoting positive patient outcomes provide for total and complete patient care.

Because of the nature of care in the Intensive Care Unit, visitation is limited to two visitors. For your convenience, an Intensive Care Waiting area and restroom is located adjacent to the Intensive Care Unit.
