2023 Inaugural Gala

The Results Are In

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Stephens County Hospital Foundation’s Inaugural Gala raised over $120,000, thanks to our generous guests, supporters, and sponsors.

Held on October 14, 2023, this important fundraiser brought together business, community, government, and medical leaders for an evening of community spirit, live auction excitement, silent auction, fine dining, and dancing.

Highlights of the evening included hearing the story of one of our patients and the remarkable, life-saving care she received at Stephens County Hospital.

This year’s Gala theme was “Unveiling Our Future.” Stephens County Hospital CEO, Van Loskoski, spoke on the recent accomplishments and growth which included hiring new general and orthopedic surgeons, opening clinics in Toccoa, Hartwell, and Rabun County, opening our surgical pavilion, providing stroke coverage in our hospital, and opening the outpatient psychiatry clinic to provide for the healthcare needs of our communities. He also unveiled a look into the future, announcing the partnership with Northside Hospital Heart Institute to provide cardiac care on the Stephens County Hospital campus and beginning the process of earning level 4 trauma designation.

We would like to express our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to all who supported and sponsored. You are the reason we can do so much for our family, friends, and neighbors.

What a fantastic night of shared commitment to helping others that brought a hopeful and collective sense of community! Thank you so much to everyone who joined – and for your steadfast commitment to the health and wellness of the communities we serve across the region.
