Our team of caring professionals and specialists work with you and your family to cultivate healthy lifestyle habits, maintain the highest level of function, and improve the overall quality of life. We do this by combining exercise, education, and socialization through our Cardiac Rehabilitation and Maintenance Program.
Cardiac Rehabilitation can also help prevent future heart problems for those at high risk for heart disease or heart attack. Upon graduation, we offer a Maintenance Program to help you continue in your success.

Am I a Candidate for Cardiac Rehabilitation?
If you have experienced a cardiac event or have stable chest pain, you are a candidate for Cardiac Rehabilitation.
The following diagnoses are accepted into the program:
- Heart Attack
- Coronary artery bypass graft aka open-heart surgery
- Angioplasty or coronary stents
- Heart valve surgery
- Stable chest pain
- Heart transplant
- Heart Failure

Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Overview
The Stephens County Cardiac Rehabilitation Program involves 18-36 visits with each lasting one (1) hour. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation participant, you will have a program designed by our specialists to specifically to meet your needs. This program is created for you and determined by the risk factors for heart disease.
Upon graduation and discharge from the prescribed Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, we strongly encourage you to continue an exercise program. As a way to provide lasting support for your wellness, we offer a maintenance class for all Cardiac Rehabilitation graduates. The Cardiopulmonary facility is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexible class times to meet your needs.
