Radiology/CT Staff Technologist - Sunday - Thursday (11pm-7am)

 

Radiology/CT Staff Technologist performs diagnostic exams consistent with quality CT/Radiology Imaging.

 

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Radiologist and Supervisor, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures required.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

Degree from an accredited school of Radiology Required

ARRT Certification is Required

Must be Registered in CT or CT experience is required for this position

Graduate or graduation eligible of accredited ARRT Program

BLS Required for this position

Physical Demands lifting up to 50 lbs.

The technologist must be ARRT (CT) registered or trained in CT with least 1yr experience as CT Tech in a clinical setting.

No call is required for this position.

Must have X-Ray Experience

Occasional kneeling/stooping/bending

Occasional standing/walking

Occasional pushing/pulling

Occasional intensive work, requires reading, writing, & talking.

May need to sit or stand for up to 2-6 hours at a time

Physically demanding, high stress environment

*Have near normal hearing – able to hear alarms/telephone/normal speaking voice/ webinars

* Have near normal vision – clarity of vision (both near and far) either corrected on non-corrected, ability to distinguish colors

* Have good manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination

* Standing – continuously within the shift (67-100%)

* Walking – continuously within the shift (67-100%)

* Climbing – occasionally within the shift (1-33%)

* Bending/stooping – frequently within the shift (34-66%)

*Twist at the waist – occasionally with the shift (1-33%)

*Pushing/pulling – frequently within the shift (34-66%)

* Lift/carry – 20lbs with assistance – occasionally within the shift (1-33%)

* Reaching above the shoulders – frequently within the shift (34-67%)

* Lift/carry – 50lbs with assistance – occasionally within the shift (1-33%).
