Radiology Staff Technologist


The Radiology Staff Technologist is responsible for administering contrast medium and performing diagnostic radiology procedures on patients of the following ages:

  • Infants (Newborn to One Year)
  • Toddlers (Two to Four Years)
  • Child (Five to Nine Years)
  • Adolescent (Ten to 18 Years)
  • Adult (19 to 69 Years)
  • Geriatric (70 and Above)

This position requires the performance of Category I tasks which involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.

The Radiology Staff Technologist is responsible to the Radiology Manager.



Education:  Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in good standing with the ARRT.  (NOTE:  Employees who completed the clinical hours requirement recognized by the ARCRT may be grandfathered if they possess current ARRT certification.)


Licensure/Certification:  Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist required.  Registration in Ultrasound, CT and or Mammography preferred. CT experience preferred but not required.
