Assistant Director Nursing Services

The Assistant Director is a professional nurse responsible for the coordination and supervision of nursing units on an assigned shift.  The assistant Director is responsible in the absence of a department manager, the Director of Nursing Services or the Hospital Administrator and provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Minimum of BSN preferred.

 

Licensure/Certification: 

  • Current Georgia RN License. 
  • ACLS provider certification preferred (within six months).
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.

 

Experience:  Three years hospital nursing experience; previous supervisory experience preferred.
