Medical / Surgical Inpatient Care Unit

Stephens County Hospital provides inpatient services for a full range of medical and surgical conditions. Our 34-bed Medical / Surgical Unit is located on the 3^rd floor of the hospital. Our nursing staff is on duty 24 hours a day to assess your needs, communicate with your Physician and provide care and treatment.  All of our Medical / Surgical units have state-of-the-art beds equipped with air surface assists mattresses for the prevention of skin breakdown. Our patient rooms are beautifully decorated in soft, calming tones and filled with plenty of natural light. Each room is equipped with a sleep chair or recliner for loved ones. All bathrooms have walk-in showers. Our team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Unit Secretaries strive to provide a therapeutic and safe environment to meet your physical, emotional, psycho-social and spiritual needs. Our staff is able to provide a skilled level of care with that personal touch.
