LPN- Work Well Office
Summary:
The WorkWell LPN assists with the rendering of care to patients, including patient triage, phlebotomy procedures, medication administration, IV administration, etc. Will work as a front office staff, as needed, responsible for scheduling patients, collecting billing information, maintaining the medical record, and performing various clinical tasks.
Position:
Performs patient scheduling, maintains medical records, oversees department housekeeping, and carries out clinical duties as needed.
Clinical duties include substance abuse screens, educating patient and other staff regarding chain of custody issues, collecting blood and vitals, performs audiograms and breathalyzer tests.
Assists the NPP as needed.
Obtains and maintains appropriate certification
Participates in vaccination procedures
Serves as a resource for employers and hospital employees regarding WorkWell Services and scheduling options.
Collects payment and ensures the integrity of the revenue cycle.
Provide excellent customer services to all clients regardless of position or socioeconomic position.
Manage office inventory and ensure infection control standards are observed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
LPN license required
DOT/ NonDOT specimen collection certification preferred.
CPR Certified
Ability to work in a fast paced and multifunctional setting.
Knowledge of verifying insurance/coding preferred.
