HVAC Technician - Full Time - 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with call required.
Education:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Valid Driver’s License
-EPA certification
Experience:
-Require knowledge of HVAC equipment, air handlers, fan coils, pumps, piping systems, exchangers, de-humidification systems, chillers, etc.
-Require working knowledge of HVAC pneumatic and digital controls.
-Require knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and the keeping of records.
-Require EPA certification.

Duties and Responsibilities
Electrical Systems
- Performs PM’s no later than the 25th of the month or as scheduled.
- Records results accurately on PM card and forwards to the Engineering Office.
- Makes immediate repairs on essential equipment; follows-up on Work Orders generated from PM failures.
- Troubleshoots electrical problems using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Responds promptly to urgent request and is able to prioritize Work Orders.
Plumbing Systems
- Performs PM’s no later than the 25th of the month or as scheduled.
- Records results accurately on PM card and forwards to the Engineering Office.
- Follows-up on Work Orders generated from PM failures.
- Installs repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures.
- Responds promptly to urgent requests and is able to prioritize Work Orders.
Refrigeration Systems
- Performs PM’s no later than the 25th of the month or as scheduled.
- Records results accurately on PM card and forwards to the Engineering Office.
- Follows-up on Work Orders generated from PM failures.
- Installs and repairs refrigeration equipment.
- Responds promptly to urgent requests and is able to prioritize Work Orders
Utility Systems
- Performs PM’s no later than the 25th of the month or as scheduled.
- Records results accurately on PM card and forwards to the Engineering Office.
- Follows-up on Work Orders generated from PM failures.
- Responds promptly to urgent requests and is able to prioritize Work Orders
Maintains facility improvements and aesthetics
- Applies paints, varnishes or stains neatly as requested or required.
- Completes special projects timely and efficiently.
General Equipment Repairs
- Responds promptly to urgent requests and is able to prioritize Work Orders.
- Seeks assistance and/or learning experience to increase knowledge base/productivity.
- Reports potential problem areas to appropriate personnel.
