An Evening United by Care: Highlights From the 2025 Stephens County Hospital Foundation Gala

The Stephens County Hospital Foundation was honored to host its annual Gala on November 8, 2025 at the North Georgia Technical College Currahee Campus. 

This signature event brought together community leaders, healthcare partners, sponsors, and supporters for a meaningful celebration of compassion, progress, and the shared commitment to advancing high-quality healthcare close to home.

Guests enjoyed an energetic and engaging evening featuring exceptional dining, fellowship, and a wide array of silent auction items that helped create a warm and generous atmosphere throughout the event. The Gala served as both a celebration of the hospital's continued growth and a reflection of the strong community support that makes progress possible.

One of the most powerful moments of the evening was a testimonial video highlighting the impact of Stephens County Hospital's award-winning Stroke Program. Through real patient stories, guests saw firsthand how rapid, evidence-based stroke care saves lives and improves outcomes, particularly in a rural setting. Several stroke patients and their families were in attendance, adding depth and meaning to the moment and reminding everyone of the real lives touched by this vital program.

The evening also marked the presentation of the Power of Caring Award, created to honor individuals whose lives reflect extraordinary compassion and service. The inaugural award was presented to Sherry Beavers, Director of Open Arms Clinic. Her lifelong dedication to patients and the community beautiful embodies the heart of Stephens County Hospital and the values that guide its mission.
