Customer service is very important to the entire Laboratory team at Stephens County Hospital. We strive to exceed your expectations. We welcome you to complete a customer satisfaction survey upon completion of your visit, just ask the Phlebotomist and they will be happy to provide you with one.

Stephens County Hospital provides on-site 24-hour clinical laboratory services. Accredited by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and the College of American Pathology (CAP), the laboratory offers a full menu of clinical lab tests based on the needs of the patient as well as the needs of the Medical Staff. The primary function of the Laboratory is to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease as well as monitoring various medical conditions. Laboratory test results comprise up to 70% of the measurable data in the medical record.  Therefore the Laboratory is a very important diagnostic tool for the Medical Staff. The Laboratory at Stephens County Hospital is staffed by certified technologists and support personnel and is led by a Board Certified Pathologist.
