Physical Therapy is a non-surgical rehabilitation that uses specifically designed exercises, hands-on techniques and patient education with the ultimate goal of maintaining and restoring maximum movement and functional ability.
Occupational Therapy is a profession concerned with promoting health and well-being through occupation. The primary goal of Occupational Therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Occupational Therapists achieve this outcome by enabling people to do things that will enhance their ability to participate or by modifying the environment to better support participation.
Speech / Language Therapy
Speech / Language Therapy involves the study, diagnosis and treatment of disorders that relate to speech, language, swallowing, fluency, voice and communication. People who experience problems with stuttering, speaking clearly, swallowing and other tasks that make speech challenging can receive the services of a Speech Pathologist in order to overcome such obstacles.
Pediatric Therapy is helping a child to be independent and to safely participate in activities within the home, school and community. Their therapy sessions help make children’s muscles stronger, their postures and balance more secure, and their movement better. Along with Physical Therapy, they also receive Speech / Language Therapy. This well- rounded approach to therapy helps them to be their very best!
