At Stephens County Hospital, we understand that each patient has a unique medical history and current needs, and we create individualized treatment plans for every client. Our team will work with you one-on-one to help you achieve your recovery goals. Our mission is to help people return to a healthy and functional lifestyle while achieving success in daily living.

Our staff is comprised of dedicated, licensed professionals. We are Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapy Assistants. Every member of our team is truly committed to achieving the best possible results and providing a supportive therapy experience for every one of our patients.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy focuses on non-surgical rehabilitation for medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries that limit their ability to function properly. We use specifically designed exercises and hands-on techniques in our treatment plans, with the ultimate goal of maintaining and restoring you to the best possible health and mobility. You may be referred to a Physical Therapist as part of your treatment and recovery for many conditions. In some cases, Physical Therapy can even help you avoid surgical intervention.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists teach you how to adapt to your environment, training you to perform difficult activities at school, in your home, or at your job. You may learn to use assistive devices, modify your home, or use alternative movements to achieve your goals. Occupational Therapy may be recommended for people with balance and coordination issues, those recovering from an injury, or even for patients of any age with sensory processing disorders. The primary goal of Occupational Therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life, and we design our course of treatment to suit each individual.

Pediatric Therapy

In Pediatric Therapy, we help children become independent and safely participate in activities within their home, school, and community. Pediatric Therapy includes speech/language therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy all tailored to the needs and development of children. Our team provides a well-rounded approach to therapy that will help your child’s develop stronger muscles, better posture and balance, and more security in their movement. Children with delayed speech or other developmental concerns will also grow more confident as they move forward with Pediatric Therapy!
