The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures,needle-guided biopsies and endocavity exams for patients.
This position requires the performance of Category I tasks which involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible to the Radiology Manager.
Education: Completion of a formal Ultrasound training program or completion of clinical hours sufficient to sit for the Ultrasound Registry.
Licensure/Certification: Registry in Ultrasound preferred; Ultrasound Registry Eligible required.
