Dining Options
Cafeteria
Located on the first floor, main entrance of the hospital, the cafeteria serves a variety of hot and cold foods during breakfast and lunch hours daily. The cafeteria is closed for business during dinner hours.
Cafeteria Hours:
Breakfast 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Vending
A selection of snacks and healthy vended foods and beverages is available at all hours. There are three areas located throughout the hospital for your convenience.
Cafeteria Vending:
The large vending area is located at the entrance of the Cafeteria. The Cafeteria is located on the first floor, the main entrance of the hospital. Here you will find a healthy selection of sandwiches, fruit, and express foods along with a microwave oven for your convenience. Hot coffee, bottled water, and a variety of sodas are also available in this area.
Surgical Services Waiting Area Vending:
Vending is also available in the Surgical Services waiting area. This area is located on the first floor, rear entrance of the hospital. Here you will find a selection of sodas and bottled water.
Amenities
ATM
For your convenience, an ATM is located on the first floor next to the main lobby elevators.
Entertainment
WiFi:
Wireless internet is available to all patients and visitors. Instructions on the usage of WiFi are available in all patient rooms.
To access the hospital WiFi follow these simple instructions:
- Open “Settings” on your device and select the Stephens County Hospital network - “SCHA Guest”. There is no password. This is an open public network. Usage is monitored and devices can and will be blacklisted from the network, so please use responsibly.
Telephone:
Each patient room is equipped with a telephone. Special phones for the hearing impaired are available on request.
- To make a local, calling card or toll-free call, dial “9”, wait for the dial tone, then dial the number.
- To make a long-distance call, dial “9”, wait for the dial tone, then dial “00”. An outside operator will come on the line to ask how the call is to be charged. Please charge all long-distance calls to your home number, your credit card or the party you are calling (collect).
- If there are any questions about the phone service, dial “0” for the hospital operator.
Television:
Each patient room is equipped with a remote-control television. The Patient Education Channel is available on Channel 81, providing around-the-clock educational programs on topics relating to patient care.
The Gift Gallery Gift Shop
The Gift Gallery Gift Shop is located in the main lobby and is operated by the Stephens County Hospital Auxiliary. The gift shop features an assortment of silk flowers, balloons, gifts, cards, toiletries and books. Proceeds from the gift shop benefit the Love Light Campaign.
