Nurse Hero 2005
Stephens County Hospital

National Nurse Week, is a special time for the employees of Stephens County Hospital's Nursing department.

It is during this week that they bestow the "Nurse Hero" designation upon a coworker.

Employees select the nominees based on several characteristics:

  • consistently goes beyond the call of duty,
  • promotes a positive image for nursing,
  • admired for their achievements and qualities,
  • exhibits positive customer relations and behaviors,
  • cares for themselves and others and
  • is committed to the nursing profession.
