WILKINSON AND WELCH PROMOTED
at Stephens County Hospital

TOCCOA, GA ~ ~ Mr. Aaron Wilkinson, lifelong resident of Stephens County, has been named the Emergency Medical Services Manager upon the retirement of Ray Willis in January. Aaron is a graduate of Stephens County High School and attended Gainesville College and Truett-McConnell College. He was licensed as an EMT in 1975 and began employment with the Stephens County EMS in the summer of 1976. Aaron completed his paramedic training at Athens Regional Hospital in 1982 and since that time, has successfully completed various educational and training programs. Aaron is the son of Bill and the late Dorothy Wilkinson and the father of three children, Maggie, Parker and Landry and has one grandchild. He and his wife, Lydia, reside in Toccoa .

 

 

 

 

Mrs. Cheryl Welch was recently named as the Auxiliary Manager at Stephens County Hospital upon the retirement of Juanita Macomson. She has been employed at Stephens County Hospital since 2006 in the financial services department. Her experience in the customer service sector comes from having worked in real estate, banking, the airline industry and other healthcare organizations. Cheryl is an artist and avid reader. She and her husband Ken, reside in Toccoa with their toy poodle, Sophie.
