Stephens County Hospital Authority Welcomes New Members

The Stephens County Hospital Authority is welcoming some new members this month.

Last week, the Hospital Authority held elections to fill three posts on the Authority.

The Hospital Authority elected John West, Paula Dickerson, and George Sanders to six-year terms.

Dickerson’s election is a re-appointment, while Sanders and West are new members.

Stephens County Hospital Administrator Ed Gambrell said all three will do great work on the authority.

“I know both of the new board members,” said Gambrell. “Both John and George are good people. I have known both of them for years and I am sure that they will serve the community and Stephens County Hospital well. By the same token, we are very happy to have Paula Dickerson back on the Authority again for a six-year term.”

The Hospital Authority will elect its officers at its meeting in October.
